The campground is lovely and clean and the scenery is gorgeous. The male campground host was kind, but the female campground host was unkind and chastised us for a rule that is not in the campground rules.

The views from this campground are stunning, the hosts are helpful and friendly, and the grounds are extremely well kept. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and even extended it a couple of days. I have been staying at NM state parks this summer, and this campground was definitely a step up, especially the bathrooms. It was nice to have hot water (vs. like warm) and to actually be able to adjust the temperature to my liking.

The camp sites were great actually excellent chilly excellent but access to the lake wasn't very good we mainly fish the river the river if you have a boat it would probably be a lot better The people that were the host they were excellent

360-degree views from the sites. My only complaint: Would be a great dark stargazing park if not for the crazy-bright street lamp at the campground entrance.

Beautiful scenic location, lots to do nearby including ghost ranch and Echo Amphitheater. Staff was efficient and friendly.

I’m hesitant to provide my true opinion out of stinginess- I would like to keep this great place a secret. We loved it - beautiful, great hosts, clean, lots to do within an hours drive or hike, peaceful and more.
