The campground was beautiful as always. However there was no water at the site. We only learned about this on arrival on opening day. There was nothing posted on the Website until Saturday May 19. This could have easily been posted before opening day. We had to leave the campground and drive to Los Alamos to purchase water. The Host was very nice and told us the State of New Mexico had not approved water quality.

Always a great spot to camp BUT it sure needs upgrades. This weekend, no water anywhere in the campground and major pot holes all through the campground. I know there are issues with personnel and costs but dang come on, how long can we use these excuses. Fix them please!

The site was quiet and had easy access to multiple trails. The website was reasonably user-friendly.

This was our second time in this site. This is a great site for RVs and trailers (we brought a 34' RV), but also great for tent campers with plenty of level tent pad locations and lots of shade. This site is directly across from a restroom which was well-maintained during our visit and water is close by as well. The fire rings could use some additional maintenance - ours was pretty full of debris - and the site reservation cards were not well-maintained at this time, but it didn't affect our stay or our rating. This is a great site!

Wonderful campsite! Shaded, full of trees, quiet. Can't wait to go there again.

1. No host was evident during the three days. 2. A lot of trash and garbage strewed around. 3. All site reserved signs were at least one month out of date. 4. Online descriptions states campsite space available for 37 ft RV's, not level and not possible.
