Great proximity to the falls, and site was overall clean and comfy with easy access to the water spigot. Lots of folks had big rigs, but generators weren't going day and night like in some campgrounds.

Two days there no host and we ran out of toilet paper in all the restrooms. Get it they need days off but they should have stocked before days off. And flies out of control in a couple of the restrooms

Always a great time, just wish the government would fill some of the pot holes on the roads. The picnic tables need to be refinished

Generally speaking, the campground is located in a beautiful treed area in the Santa Fe National Forest and there are several hiking trails to enjoy. The condition of the campground itself is showing some serious need for maintenance. The paved loops have numerous moderate to severe potholes from years of weather and heavy usage that need to be filled. The vault toilets were awful even by campground standards, with hoards of flies and minimally attended facilities very apparent. We did not see any sign of a camp host patrolling the loops during our three night stay even though their site was populated and it was the active camping season. We tend to camp here at least once a season, and the facility seems to be in a gradual state of decline. Which is sad since nightly campsite rates are supposedly going up soon (according to our campsite neighbors). We will return, but I hope that the USFS will do a better job taking care of this jewel in the Jemez Mountains.

The Jemez Falls Campground is one of our very favorite places to go for a peaceful few days. The campground is always clean, and the sites are nicely spread apart. The aroma of all the pine trees is intoxicating. The air is clean and cool even in the middle of summer. There is an easy hike to the falls themselves, and much more hiking in the area.

The campground is in a great location for exploring Valles Caldera as well as Bandelier. The bathrooms were the worst I've seen in a long time. The host stocked with TP, but that was it - they were disgusting.

Beautiful campground and all the sites seem to be spread out enough that no one is super close to their neighbors. I will say that the vault toilets were a bit dirty and could stand to have been cleaned when we were there.

Great and clean camp spot. The downside is people leave their shoes, socks, towels and trash at the waterfalls.

We happened to be across from a site where the generator ran from 7 am to 10pm. Not sure why they felt the need to run it the entire time it was allowed but it definitely put a damper on sitting outside to enjoy the sounds of nature.
