Such a beautiful campground! This was our 4th visit there, and it won't be our last. Definitely need reservations for weekends as it fills up fast.

The campground & bathrooms were very clean. The weather was perfect. There was a large family with lots of kids that were so loud though. Constant screaming & loud music. Definitely not relaxing. All ages should count towards the head count . The family was a mess. One of the kids started an explosion & small fire with their equipment. No wildlife was seen. Seems they stayed far away from the noise. The campground gets a 5 star the camp neighbor gets a 1.

Great forest environment and very quiet. You do hear a random car go by (if you are in the first loop), but there wasn't much traffic on hwy 4 when we were there the week before Labor day weekend. The sites were decently spread out and flat for our tent. You can either walk to the end of the road or drive and park to walk the trail to Jemez falls, but I would recommend it. Overall, it was a great experience.

The Porto potty needed cleaning on a hazardous level.
The yellow jackets were horrible.

Great overall, high yellow jacket activity wasn’t fun to deal with!

The campground is beautiful and well set up. However, there is a yellow jacket nest on loop 1 and all that has been done is to put yellow tape around the area. Us and most of the people in the spots around us spent the entire weekend fighting them. Also, the quiet time is not enforced. There was a group of drunk people not far from us and they yelled and carried on well past 10:00. Then about 10:30 another group decided to blast their music until after midnight. Nothing was done about either.

The bathrooms needed to be maintained more often. Other than that our stay was perfect.
