This campground is truly one of the best I’ve ever visited. As a Scoutmaster for a Boy Scout troop, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to many different campgrounds over the years, and I can confidently say that this one stands out as top-notch. The grounds are well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully laid out, which makes both camping and activities much more enjoyable.
What really impressed me was how accommodating the facilities are for groups like ours. The campsites are spacious and organized, making it easy to set up tents, cook meals, and still have plenty of room for troop activities. The staff is welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer questions or lend a hand, which goes a long way in creating a positive experience for leaders and Scouts alike.
In addition, the natural surroundings are beautiful and provide a perfect backdrop for hiking, exploring, and learning outdoor skills. Whether it’s the trails, the scenery, or the overall atmosphere, everything about this campground fosters a sense of adventure and respect for the outdoors.
I would highly recommend this campground not just to Scout troops, but to families, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a well-run and memorable camping experience. It’s clear that the people who run this place take pride in what they do, and it really shoed

Terrible campsite (#42). The whole site is on an incline and you cannot place your tent on level ground. Also even though it's a non generator site, it's about 10 feet from the other loops that can use generators. There's no enforcement it seems, so you'll hear generators all night. Other sites in the campground may be better.

Jemez Falls was one of the nicest campgrounds we've been to. We'll definitely be going back!

We had not been to Jemez Falls in about a25 years. It was so nice to see the improvements and how nice the camp ground was maintained. Very clean and well kept. Bathrooms clean. Very quiet,

Sites were spread out. Grounds themselves were beautiful and less than a mile from the trail head to the falls. Noise level was bearable but if you are looking for a quieter experience maybe book on loop 4 which is generator free. There are pinic tables and a fire ring. If you are planning to have a campfire, bring wood. You are allowed to collect dead and down wood but it is pretty sparse. Very pleasant experience overall. Would go again
