The campground was so clean and peaceful because it was reservation only and after Labor Day. Don't think there needs to be a 3 hour window from check out at noon to check in at 3 pm. Jemez Falls is a must see and McCauley Warm Springs is very nice also if one doesn't mind the 4 mile RT hike.

The Recreation.gov site was difficult to navigate and very confusing. The site kept changing and or resetting the dates of our stay resulting in a reservation for one night rather than the two nights that we wanted.
The $8 reservation fee was much to high/expensive. I felt that I had been ripped-off or cheated, especially when I had to make two separate reservations due to the site changing/resetting the dates of our stay. In our travels we will avoid any campgrounds or facilities that require the use of the Recreation.gov system if at all possible. We will steer to State Parks and campgrounds.
The Jemez Falls Campground was nice, quite, and well maintained. The host was friendly and very nice. No complaints about the campground, but We feel cheated by the Recreation.gov reservation system and the exorbitant $8 reservation fee.

The new pavement looks great and made backing up my little camper much easier! Everything was clean, quiet and the camp host was very friendly. I definitely want to go back!

Had an excellent time at Jemez Falls campground. The entire site was very clean and enjoyed walking the nearby trails and biking. Need to keep more toilet paper available in the restrooms will definitely like to visit again and we recommend this campsite too many.

The Forestry Department has just completed an awesome renovation of Jemez falls campground and let me tell you what!!!! Itβs amazing, no more potholes and flooded roads, with not only the roads paved but also EACH campsite. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful!
