Spacious, comfortable, clean, shady with tents far from one another and actually in a forest, close to Jemez Falls and hot springs - perfect location. As a bonus, you may see deers from your site.

The campground was totally peaceful, well managed, very clean, and generators were off during the day which I truly love as a tent camper. It was a great experience and we loved the trail by the falls!

Our site was occupied when we arrived, and the host said that an RV had been stuck and they had to reshuffle people and told us we could take this other site, which we did. Night one, no problem, but we return the next day after hiking, and in the pouring rain (our whole site was all set up with a tent and stuff on the picnic table and everything) to a huge RV and vehicle in our parking spot...wouldn't move because they said they had reserved it, but I had also reserved my spot over a month in advance, and couldn't move because it was pouring rain. Wound up having to camp that night next to their stinky/loud generator and park the vehicle that we are in and out of all the time/using the tailgate on across the way...thankfully we were breaking camp the next morning...not a well-managed scenario...ruined our last night.
Gorgous campground otherwise! :)

Very quiet beautiful campground walking distance to beautiful waterfalls. Bring extra tp because sometimes bathrooms run out.
