Beautiful campground, lots of green. Near road, but road noise not bad. Bathrooms very clean.

The water is finally back on at the campground, after having been off for most of the summer due to a bacteria found by the state. I tried to learn this before arriving at the campsite and called the Jemez Ranger Station, but only got a recorded message and they never returned my call. Hopefully, this will help someone looking for the same information. Still a great campground.

This is a beautiful well maintained campground nestled in the Jemez Mountains. The only drawback is that there are only 6 spaces with electric/water hook-ups. The crews keep the groups well kept and clean. There is a stream running through the camp area that can be fished or just get in to cool off. Fenton Lake is a short drive away for another experience. Fenton is great for kayaks and wakeboards, as well as fishing or picnics. We will be back next year!

Have always enjoyed my time in this campground. Nice area & a fabulous Camp Hoist. Spend most my time out on exploring & hiking all the areas around this campground area. So beautiful and nice. Had rain everyday, but time on the trails fell in to place!!
Always would recommend to any person interested.
