It was great! Until the road graders, dump trucks, etc etc started work on chip-coating the road above the campground. Oh, well, we just left a little bit earlier than planned. San Antonio is a wonderful, well-kept, easy access camp. We'll be back!

San Antonio camp ground is a really nice place to camp. It is really hard to get a reservation though. I have been camping here since I was a young girl. Approximately 45 years. I have camped there with my children and even my grandchildren. It is maintained and always clean.

Great RV sites, paths, lighting. Gorgeous area and everything beautifully maintained. The campground would be too crowded (sites close together) for our preference if it were full, though. And no cell service at all, but that's ok as long as we plan ahead.

Love San Antonio, but our site was dirty and illegal scrap wood was left in pit. Host left, not present, two days before our stay ended.

The spot is perfect for solo camping. Area is very secure and the waterfront is perfect. The site had a swarm of bats over the area between site and water.

Very nice campground. It was clean and well maintained. Spacious sites and level. Close to some nice hikes at the Valles Caldera National Rec site and Jemez Falls. A number of sites were marked reserved but no one was occupied them for the week we stayed here.

This is a beautiful campground. The sites are large, clean and well taken care of. We had one of the 6 RV sites with electricity and water. The whole campground is full of trees, nice paths, and close to the river where you can fish. The only drawback was that we were across from the restroom (site #4) and it was during the rainy monsoon season, and there was an odor from the restroom. Otherwise, this is one of the best places we have visited this year.

It was very nice. I wonder about my charges though as it was posted a different price online then what was posted at the campsite. I have a senior pass and received a discount but what was posted at the campsite I should have been charged less?????
