Cochiti is a delightful quiet campground, close enough to Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and other attractions, but quiet!
An overlooked essential feature is the laundromat on the outskirts of the campground. Clean, inexpensive, and with ample working machines.

We were in the Juniper loop. Big, level sites, but the electric and water hookups were all in really bad locations to try to reach (up steep hills, too far from camper). One bathroom was closed, and the bathhouse that was open was so old, disgusting, stinky and filthy that it was unusable. Definitely the worst ACE experience ever. The lower loop in the park seemed newer and better. We drove down to use the bathrooms there.

The campground was very clean. nice hot showers. Campsites are big and easy to get into. Took a nice bike ride across the dam. This is a nice staging campground for doing things in the Santa Fe area, including Bandelier NP.

Very nice campground with paved sites and sheltered picnic tables. Most sites are level and well spaced. Bathroom clean and plenty of hot water although shower is on timer and must be turned back on when hot water suddenly stops! Nice reservoir for kayaks, SUP, canoes.

It was beautiful, we had a great site overlooking the lake. each site was nice and spaced out from each other. The bathrooms were clean, but need heaters in showers.

Bathrooms were never cleaned over the Easter weekend and they were awful. Told Park Ranger on Easter morning and all he said was, “we’re aware of it”. But nothing was cleaned or stocked until Monday.
