Warrior Creek is our go-to for camping
trips with the grands. There’s plenty of bike trails, creeks to play in, water for fishing and kayaking. We’ve gone for years and always had the kindest park employees.

The campsite was quiet and level, just what we wanted. No neighbors! We have had state park sites where the next camp was almost in your bedroom.

We have come to love this campground. We like the area and Wilksboro. There is a fantastic donut shop, a great church (Goshen Baptist Church), Several nice restaurants and Lowe’s Foods! We will go back in the spring!

WiFi is almost non existent. Sites are roomy bath houses clean. A little run down and no one at gates when we stayed

Beautiful park! Lots of trails. Great camping site. Bathhouse was older but in decent condition. We'll be back!!

We were in site 60 that was a great site except it was next to the pit toilet that is the only toilet on the loop. The main bathroom is a very long walk uphill. If you have a seperate vehicle it is that far you should drive to it.

This is a nice campground close to town and within about 45 minutes of Boone. Quiet, decent bathhouse amenity. Tent sites were a little close, with no separation which wasn't my favorite. But otherwise, I'd stay here again gladly.

From Winston-Salem, North Carolina, take Highway 421 North (approximately 55 miles) to Exit 286B, turn left onto Highway 268 and continue for approximately 8 miles. Turn right immediately after crossing the bridge and follow signs to the campground.
From Charlotte, North Carolina, take I-77 North (approximately 60 miles) before merging onto Highway 421 North towards Wilkesboro/Boone, continue to Exit 286B (approximately 20 miles), turn left onto Highway 268 and continue for approximately 8 miles. Turn right immediately after crossing the bridge and follow signs to the campground.

Swim beach is closed until further notice. Frequently asked Rules and Regulations:Maximun stay is 14 days within any 30 day period. Changing names on a reservation, changing campsites, or making multiple reservations in order to stay over 14 days is prohibitied. Golden Age/Access and America the Beautiful Interagency Senior and Access Passes are accepted at this campground. Cardholders receive a 50% discount on camping fees. Cardholder must be present at of check in, show pass and ID, and camp during the entire stay. Alcoholic beverages and off-road (golf carts, 4-wheelers, etc.) are prohibited. Camping is permitted in designated campsites only, and only permitted to those who have a reservation. Most campsites have a gravel bases: bring padding for tents. All equipment much be placed within site perimeter. Quiet hours are from 10pm. to 6am. Generators and music must be cut off at 10pm. Campers/Customers should not have packages delivered to the Park.
