The campsite was the perfect quiet getaway. If you're looking for a place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the world, this is great place to go. Little cell service but can get it if needed. Site was easy to get into and was very spacious.

We had a great weekend at Worriers Creek campgrounds. The park rangers were wonderful people and a delight to talk to . Cell service was non existent but that made for a peaceful weekend. A definite do again for us

We had a great time despite the rain. The site was perfect. We to the thrift stores nearby and just hung out with family. Will be back in a few weeks. This is our favorite place to camp. Close enough to home if we need to run home for an emergency and far enough away to not be bothered. LOL

The camp ground seemed very run down. I stayed there 10 years ago. It felt like no maintenance had been done in that time. The bike trails are awesome

It feels like there really isn't much to see here. There are no scenic views, and with all the sunlight streaming in, it gets quite hot, too.

Apple Maps had a little trouble getting us there. It wanted us to enter through the now closed back road luckily it was Google to the rescue. Once we entered the campground, we easily found our campsite with the clearly marked signs. Campsite #59 had plenty of room for our 24 foot travel trailer. The campsite was clean and level. We loved our three day stay, very peaceful and quiet.
Would we return? YES!

I don’t know what’s going on with the Army Corp of Engineers at Kerr Scott but I’m concerned. Warrior Creek Campground, Memorial Day weekend and zero gate attendant. Gate inoperable or simply left wide open all weekend. Camp sites left with trash, cigarette butts and debris from previous campers. No site tags so anyone could be coming and going. The good news was the bathhouses were clean and maintained - contracted out - smart move. Bandits Roost was attended and the gatekeeper stated there’s no volunteer attendant for Warrior Creek so the Corp knows the issue and just lets it go. Do better.
