It is a nice campground, but it has not been taken care of the electric and water hook up area taken care of but not so much of the rest of the park. I am not local so this could be because it is presummer.

I was at the gate at 2:30 for a 3:00pm check in. No one at the gate, no packet, no map, nothing. (Never saw anyone at the gate even upon checkout. Thus, no firewood or ice for sale.)Gate was open. I drove in and found my spot. The following morning a very nice Ranger showed up and handed me a parking tag but no other information. The signage in the park was difficult to read and lacking in many places. I ended up having to drive through the entire park until I found the dump station...this park has seen its glory days. New gravel is desperately needed in all sites. Picnic tables need to be power washed as they were covered with mold and grime, and all of the wood landscape lumber surrounding the site was rotting. Don't let the kids or pets stray off the gravel on the campsite or they will be knee deep in poison ivy! It was quiet, peaceful, and not crowded. Large site, fairly private and moderate shade. The center of my site was heavily compacted to the point that it looked like gray mud, which was fine as long as it was dry it rained two days...overall a good three night stay. Be careful, lot of Horse Flies around!

Group site B was perfect zen. We had five families camping together and we felt like we had it all to ourselves. Great access to trails and swimming. Perfect 10 in my humble opinion

Everything you could want in an overnight stay. We had to back in our site with a 24ft RV but it was easy. We arrived late and were level enough to not make adjustments. Electric and water hookup on site with a dump station located at the bathhouse. The restrooms are seriously dated and need a refresh, 3/5 useable but gross. The campground is otherwise very impressive. Built in all natural space with a thick wooded atmosphere that really feels like camping. Priced for excellence and affordability. Enjoy your stay and thank me later!
