Sites are large and we were lucky to get a pull through. Lots of trails and shower houses very clean. Only flaw is shower house is about a mile from camping in section B. The one pit toilet was overridden with thousands of bugs.

We enjoyed Warrior Creek very much, very clean and well kept up. Only thing was could not pick up radio ,satellite ,or tv at our location and other campers said the same thing, but was a nice place to stay. will stay again!

Loved this campground...the site are really big...We stay at site 51 and we had enough room for our 23 foot camper and a tent and still could've put up 3 more tents and still had room to get around...the lake is beautiful...and the campground is very clean...there a swimming area and a playground for the kids...great for family's...Well definitely go back...

Everything went fine until I went to go to the shower house. I was very disappointed that the nearest bath house was over a mile away. There seems to be only two bath hoses for 60 plus camp sites. That’s just not enough facilities for that amount of people.

Great time as always. We love coming here to relax and unwind. People are always friendly and no one ever bothers you. Great place to bring your kids and grandkids. Can't wait until our next trip.

From Winston-Salem, North Carolina, take Highway 421 North (approximately 55 miles) to Exit 286B, turn left onto Highway 268 and continue for approximately 8 miles. Turn right immediately after crossing the bridge and follow signs to the campground.
From Charlotte, North Carolina, take I-77 North (approximately 60 miles) before merging onto Highway 421 North towards Wilkesboro/Boone, continue to Exit 286B (approximately 20 miles), turn left onto Highway 268 and continue for approximately 8 miles. Swim beach is closed until further notice. Frequently asked Rules and Regulations:Maximun stay is 14 days within any 30 day period. Changing names on a reservation, changing campsites, or making multiple reservations in order to stay over 14 days is prohibitied. Golden Age/Access and America the Beautiful Interagency Senior and Access Passes are accepted at this campground. Cardholders receive a 50% discount on camping fees. Cardholder must be present at of check in, show pass and ID, and camp during the entire stay. Alcoholic beverages and off-road (golf carts, 4-wheelers, etc.) are prohibited. Camping is permitted in designated campsites only, and only permitted to those who have a reservation. Most campsites have a gravel bases: bring padding for tents. All equipment much be placed within site perimeter. Quiet hours are from 10pm. to 6am. Generators and music must be cut off at 10pm. Campers/Customers should not have packages delivered to the Park.
