Overall our 14 day visit was great. Managers and staff were friendly and helpful as always. They made sure all campers were aware of safety protocols and that they were followed. Bathrooms and showers were clean.

The bathrooms and showers were excellent!
The campground hosts were friendly and most helpful.
The camp sites were excellent as they have been for out last 10 visits.
Campers from other sites were friendly.
We were there to hike to the summit of Mitchell. (8 hours plus; 3500 feet elevation gain...plus)
There is one waterfall within walking distance of the campground. There's another not far from the golf course.
The South Toe River...a trout stream runs by the campground.
Bottom Line: We'll be back!

Great little campground! Only reason for 3 stars was the Forest service had to cut down a tree and I had to break camp, move for couple hours and the set back up. The camp hosts were awesome people through the whole thing.

What a great little campground! Host was friendly and welcoming, campsite and restrooms were clean. The campground itself would be very difficult if at all impossible to get too with a big rig since it winds very steeply with lots of tight switchbacks to get too the site but easily accessible with a small camper or obviously car. Is a bit remote so stock up before going up the mountain to get there. Will definitely be back.
