Asheville West KOA Holiday

Great staff. Location is not camping by any definition due to highway next door and a neighboring house with a rooster . Sounds nice but doesn't stop crowing from 430 am on... so have fun

The site it's self is good just surrounded by highway and the noise and neighbors of the real world.

Listen, 2025 ended with me landing on my backside hard. Rei, Heather, and the lady manager (I will learn names) - Have been so gracious towards me. Extremely welcoming considering my situation. Picnic table & fire ring included, nice ones too! Nice layout, the facility is very clean & a lot to do on sight versus around the area. Eventhough my luck is way down right now, I am proud to have my family stay and visit me here. Super cute place, there is traffic noise but it's actually a nice white noise. Also, if I had our better quality 5th wheel here we wouldn't hear a sound. Definitely stay here to feel for yourself! Its worth it.

Love the convenience but not the noise. You literally could throw a rock and hit the interstate. It is SO loud. The campground is nice. I like that it's spread out and there are walking trails here. We walked them and the one follows the interstate and the other on the back side creating a loop. Other than the noise it is a nice campground. But please know there is a tremendous amount of very loud traffic noise

Fabulous stay! This was my first visit to a KOA and it exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and the people who work there were super nice and welcoming! The only slight downside is that it is right off the highway, so there is some road noise. However, this KOA offers free earplugs. I didn’t need them, but it was nice to have the option. The plus side of being so close to the highway is the convenience in getting around to see the sights. I will definitely stay here again!

We stayed in our Motorhome and slept very soundly. Other reviews talk about highway noise. Never bothered us once. I actually had to stop and listen for the traffic to hear it.
We spent 7 days and took two days off of sightseeing to enjoy this place. The staff is wonderful. While I never used the bathrooms/showers, someone was always over there cleaning or taking out the garbage.
Lots of trees and hills so it gives a more private feel. Spots are gravel but they work on keeping them level. My cat on leash loved walking on the short trails.
We will definitely come here again if we make it back to N.C.
