BEWARE!!! Unless you have a small camper you will not be able to get to your rv lot… We paid 250.00 for a week stay. Non refundable.. however, when we arrived at the “rv park” we were unable to get up the mountain due to the steep grade. And the sharp right turn to get onto the dirt road to the rv slot. I notified the owner “Cathie” she informed us that she was keeping the $250.00. We told her she should have been forthcoming about the tight roads that we were pulling a 38ft fifth wheel. She didn’t care and only wanted to argue with us. I have a CDL license and wouldn’t risk losing my home for this trashy RV park. That used to be a trashy trailer park.. again! DO NOT RENT A LOT FROM THIS SCAMMER! This is our rig not a piece of crap.

I strongly advise against booking a stay at Brookview RV Park in Candler, NC. Our experience was extremely disappointing and left us feeling taken advantage of.

Due to undisclosed hazards on their property, we were unable to proceed with our stay. Despite this being a serious concern, the owner refused to refund our $250 payment or offer any reasonable compensation. What makes this even more concerning is that payment was only accepted through Venmo—there were no standard booking protections or policies in place. That alone should have been a warning sign.

The lack of professionalism, transparency, and basic customer service is unacceptable. Keeping a full payment under these circumstances feels dishonest and unfair. Travelers should be very cautious when dealing with this property.

I would not recommend renting an RV lot here. There are plenty of other parks that operate with integrity and treat their guests with respect.

The property was not as pictured at all—what we saw online did not match the actual conditions of the RV park. It felt misleading and very frustrating after planning our trip based on those expectations.

To make matters worse, when we raised concerns and asked for a refund, the owner refused to return our money. There was no effort to address the situation or offer any kind of resolution.

Overall, this was a very negative experience. Between the inaccurate listing and the lack of customer service, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you want a stress-free and honest RV stay

I had a terrible experience with Brookview RV Park in Candler, NC. Before even stepping foot on the property, I was turned off by how rude and obnoxious the owner was on the phone. Instead of being helpful or welcoming, they came across as dismissive and unprofessional.

What really made things worse was being told they have the “lowest prices in the area,” which is simply not true. After doing a quick search, I found multiple RV parks nearby offering far better amenities for several hundred dollars less per month. Claiming to be the cheapest feels misleading at best.

Between the poor customer service and inaccurate pricing claims, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of better options in the area where you’ll be treated with respect and actually get good value for your money.
