What Guests Are Saying
The group site was enjoyable, with consistently stocked bathrooms. Despite some rain and challenges with spinner lures, guests had fun tubing and appreciated the overall experience. The reviewer plans to return for another stay.

We reserved the entire Group Campsite at Smokemont for 2 nights for an annual campout of our hiking club. It was a great experience, and this site was perfect for our needs. We had plenty of room for 30 people and almost that many small tents. The entire site, including the restroom facilities , was very clean and comfortable. The location was also perfect, since there are so many hiking options nearby.

Group camp sites were a little closer together than I would have liked, but the bathroom house and dishwashing station so nearby made it feel very hospitable and convenient for our group. Very clean and updated bathroom. Ample parking as well. Loved being so close to the stream with a perfect spot to take a dip and play. Easy access to hiking trails right from camp. Quiet campground with ample shade.

Our group reserved all three group sites and had plenty of room to spread out. Great location on the creek and for kids to bike on the paved campground loop road.
