We had an amazing weekend at Blue Ridge Ranch outside of Wilkesboro with my eight-year-old son and his Cub Scout troop. The owners and staff were absolutely fantastic — so welcoming, helpful, and genuinely great with the kids. The stream was a nonstop playground for the boys, we had excellent fishing, and the hiking trails were beautiful. Wyatt and his friends had a blast splashing around and exploring. It was the perfect spot for a scout troop — safe, fun, and full of mountain charm. We couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Beautiful place to spend time and unplug. The owners and staff make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. This is a campground on a working ranch of 440 acres and they offer tours of the property. They can accommodate primitive tent camping, RV sites or glamping. There are a number of fishing ponds on site, as well as creeks containing trout. If you forgot something, they have a well-stocked onsite store. Overall, a wonderful experience and would highly recommend booking a few nights here. We will definitely be back.

Troy and Nanette are incredible hosts! Together they helped me coordinated a group experience for 8 families to come for a fantastic day of fun and camping overnight! We experienced their great animal farm tour with the sweetest pigs, got to collect eggs and ride in the barrel train! The rest of our time the kids and parents enjoyed fishing, playing in the creek, searching for crawdads, along with playing games and picnicking in the open grassy areas. Our group made the best memories individually, as families and as a group! Thank you BRR for sharing your property with us! I absolutely would recommend BRR, especially for a group trip with your school, troop, youth group or family reunion!! Thank you Lovins, I so enjoyed working with you on this trip - we’ll be back!! 🤍

Beautiful location! The hosts provide everything you need to enjoy your get-away in the Blue Ridge Mountains. They are great people and have an amazing property that is conveniently located between Boone and Wilkesboro offering access to lots of different activities.
Highly recommend staying in one of the silos, they are nicely furnished, comfortable and provide a unique experience.
I will definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived at the property, until the moment we left we felt at home at Blue Ridge Ranch. Troy, Nannette, Darryn and Brenda feel like family; warm, welcoming, accommodating. God's hand is over Blue Ridge Ranch and we felt that throughout our stay. We did boon docking and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We enjoyed renting a golf cart to explore the property, purchasing farm fresh meats and eggs, doing the animal encounter and hiking to see Turkey Falls. Peaceful, serene and beyond beautiful. We are already planning our next time back at the end of May with friends. Thank you to our new friends and can't wait to see you again soon!
