Beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. Family atmosphere. Would be good to open other half of bathroom facility in loop 3 during the weekends. Some better maps of hiking options in the area would be great.

Love the campground and the people working there. Bathrooms very clean always.
Only concern is large dead tree over campsite #16 where we were. It was there last year.
The firewood is always green and hard to burn even when split many times.
Have been many times to this campground and will be going back.

Standing Indian Campground has quickly become our favorite campground. The grounds are very well maintained, the primitive spaces are private, guests are respectful and the restrooms are some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Campground also has easy access to several great hikes including portions of the AT. Highly recommend!

Standing Indian is the best campground in the area!!! It is peaceful, mostly local people and everyone is so nice and accommodating. The campground hosts went above and beyond their duty to help our grandson have a great time. One of the host's dog, Tucker, was a huge hit with everyone and his owner was so great to us!! Sissy in the store and our neighbor camper was super and so sweet to us.
Love this place. It is our favorite.

Standing Indian was just lovely. We had a campsite in the back corner and felt completely alone in the beautiful North Carolina Mountains
