Campsite was great. Level and good shade. Bathrooms were in good conditions. Suggest not relying on the fire wood from the little store in camp. The wood was very green. Kids really enjoyed playing in the river/creek that runs through the campground.

All of the camp host are absolutely great.
Very helpful. When I got sick and needed help packing up our campsite they all pitched in and helped. They keep the bathrooms very clean all the time.

Beautiful! Summer heat retreat! Hike a part of the AP! Well maintained and clean shower house. Some sites are in lower flat areas and some are higher up the mountain. Lower sites are spaced out in open green land. Upper sites very well placed so even if close seem to be private. Can be very noisy due to closeness and in and out traffic. Upper shower has very hot water with no way to make it comfortable. The summer temps of 50's at night and 70's during the day makes a lot of room for overlooking the few inconveniences.

Magical rhododendron forest ; beautiful trails into the surrounding woods where the ground is carpeted with ferns; nearby waterfalls; quiet and private; well maintained

Loop 5 was quiet and shady away from the crowds. Sites were recently regraded so very flat and clean. Bathroom with shower available
