Standing Indian Campground is beautiful and well maintained. I love the remoteness of it. Most everyone their had a generator but we’re polite about when they ran them.

Half of the showers and toilets were locked for no apparent reason

A hidden gem of a campground. Spacious campsites, spotless bathrooms and showers, peaceful location and best of all - No Cell Service! Plenty of hiking nearby with multiple points of access to the Appalachian trail. Great forest service roads for exploration. I had heard complaints of people running their generators after quiet hours during the night, but we did not experience that. Everyone was very considerate.

Great campground and site. The bathrooms were maybe the cleanest we have seen, all the hosts we met were super friendly, they delivered wood directly to your campsite; awesome place and we’ll be back!

Standing Indian Campground is a nice campground and it is well maintained. Only issue we had was the fact that the campsite I reserved online was too tree covered to connect to Starlink which was needed due to medical issues. We moved to a different site and we were required to pay again even though the entire campground was virtually empty. We never even entered the site which I reserved online. When booking online almost all of the sites appeared as reserved which wasn't the case at all. Almost all were empty.
Overall, this was still a very nice campground and I would definitely return.

too many rvs and giant campers for me with generators, some run before quiet hours. Most of the sites are very exposed. Also the two times i've camped there loop 5, which looks nice, has been closed.
