Paint Rock Farm

We had a wonderful experience hosting our daughter’s wedding at Paint Rock Farm. Chris and ALL the staff went above and beyond to make sure our event was a success. He was available by phone any time I had questions before the wedding. The location is absolutely gorgeous! The barn is very spacious, and the bathrooms are well maintained. If you are looking for a top-notch event space with incredible views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the French Broad River, this is it!

If I could give Paint Rock Farm a million stars, I would! This is truly one of the most special places on earth for me now.

My now husband and I visited PRF for the first time for his birthday, Christmas Eve in 2022. We stayed in one of the glamping cabins- despite the dreary December weather, we had the most beautiful time hiking on the property, exploring downtown Hot Springs, visiting the tubs and relaxing in our cabin. I'm an Asheville native and have always loved the town of Hot Springs, I've been going to enjoy the springs themselves since I was very little. Tama took such great care of us, and before we were even engaged we knew that Paint Rock Farm was where we'd like to get married.

Fast forward to June of 2023, we got engaged and immediately reached out to secure our spot. Chris was so responsive, so kind and personable, and was able to answer the million and one questions I had. We rented the cabins, the tiny house and the house on the property (a new addition, and GENIUS- couldn't have imagined the weekend without the house!) for us, our family and wedding party to stay. We were there Friday through Sunday, setting up decorations, arranging our flowers and hanging out! The whole PRF team was SO helpful- I allotted extra time for all of the set-up and was blown away by how quickly everything came together. Any minor issues that came up were solved so quickly and without any stress. My father in law is in a wheelchair, and Chris was so incredibly accommodating- he made sure that not only were the restrooms and the barn accessible, but he also spoke with my father in law personally to ensure that all of his needs were met. All of our guests staying were so happy with their cabins- the views are amazing and the temperatures stayed mild. For my late summer brides worried about the temperature- the days were about 86 degrees and the barn stayed cool and breezy the whole weekend.

I haven't even mentioned how beautiful PRF is- the location is incredible and the property is so incredibly maintained no matter where you look. When we visited for our tour, it was rainy and in March- coming for wedding weekend in August I was blown away by just how beautiful everything was. The gardens were exploding with flowers and fruit, the grass was green and fluffy, and there were even trees with Asian Pears overflowing off the branches. (We took some home and ate them for two weeks after the wedding, which was super sweet and special.) The view of the night sky is so clear and bright. There was a meteor shower on our wedding night, and I saw eleven shooting stars!

I could talk about how magical Paint Rock Farm is for hours, but I'll leave you with this- if you're looking for a wedding weekend that has that nostalgic summer camp feeling, that feels organic and intentional, and that gives you special time with all of your people, PRF is the place. Rent the venue for the weekend, rent the cabins and fill them with your favorite people- the rest will follow!

Just got married here 9/5/24 and I couldn’t have picked a better place. The owners, atmosphere, views, everything were absolutely perfect. Magical, breathtaking. I will always, always remember this place and I will definitely be back to visit. Lindsay was our DOC and Tama was our officiant. They were so down to earth and easy to work with. We stayed in the tiny house with our 2 small children and we loved every bit of it. ❤️ What an amazing place that will always have a special place in my heart.

We rented three of the side-by-side meadow cabins for a family-friendly getaway with friends. Together there were 9 of us, including 3 toddlers age 3 or under, plus two furry family members. We felt so welcome and the owner/hosts we met all commented on how nice it was to have the kids there and to watch them explore. We felt incredibly safe with the staff always accessible, and found the amenities to be impressively clean and well equipped. We were mid-way through preparing breakfast when we needed to escape a little sun shower and the big tables in the barn made for a perfect retreat. The “hike” to the nearby Koi pond was perfect for the little ones and the convenient drive into Hot Springs gave us the chance to enjoy more adult-focused evening w/ live music at Big Pillow. We made memories to last a lifetime and cannot wait to go back!

We just had our wedding in April at Paint Rock Farm and choosing this venue was one of the BEST decisions we’ve ever made! Paint Rock is truly such a magical, down to earth, peaceful, special, one of a kind, unforgettable place. The views are stunning, the cabins are kept in such great condition and are super clean and cozy, the atmosphere is so serene, and their customer service is amazing. The owners and coordinators are so communicative, kind, and accommodating. I would highly recommend booking with Paint Rock Farm. We are beyond happy with our experience! Thank you Paint Rock!!
