North Mills River Campground is a beautifully maintained site with clean and spacious facilities, offering a peaceful experience deep in the woods. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful, providing excellent service and local activity recommendations. While some bathroom facilities are older and access to certain sites can be improved, the campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, fishing, and proximity to hiking and biking trails.

Clean, well-kept campsites. The onsite ranger was extremely friendly and helpful. Close enough to West Asheville that you're in range of great food spots (if you're not going to eat by the fire) and close to the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway (along with all the excellent hiking spots and views). Will definitely stay again if I'm in the area again some day.
