Flanners Beach Campground offers a peaceful and secluded environment with spacious, clean campsites and well-maintained trails, making it ideal for nature lovers. Many guests praised the friendly and helpful campground hosts, as well as the reasonable pricing. Flanners Beach Campground is a favorite destination of mine! The hosts, Clare and Kaitlin are very friendly and welcoming. Unlike the Cedar Point Campground hosts , they are kind and know their job. Cedar Point Campground has a host who has pulled a knife on me and threatened me with death. So, I prefer this federal campground over Cedar Point, which is the only campground I have ever been threatened by hosts. Flanners Bch. Is a great place!!

I’ve visited over 400 campgrounds in 47 states. This is my favorite NC campground, and in my “Top 10” nationwide. Hosts, Kristen & Clare, keep the campground well-maintained, mowed, clean and quiet. The clean, modern, bath house has hot showers. This is a nature lover’s paradise with miles of trails right off the back of most sites. And the evenings are quiet, filled only with the sounds of crickets and owls.

Location was great, the campsites private, but mine had trash all over it when I arrived. Camp host didn't bother to get the campsite ready for the next camper... but why would they? The camp host site was littered with junk, old equipment, trash. Really, it defeated the whole point of getting out in nature. A complete eyesore. The picnic bench on my site was unable to be moved at all. Usually it's on a tether and you can adjust it for your situation, but no the silly thing was impaled right in the middle of the campsite. Ruined the great campsite. What is up with that??

The campground is very nice. The beach well that was a bust. No access … so no beach for Flanners Beach. The bath house was okay the bathrooms needed more butt wipes , the showers we okay.
The sites were nice and secluded and level.

Host was nice and kept the park in good shape. Beautiful pathways are well maintained. Sites are spacious and separated. Water and dump station was convenient.
Beach access still closed,

Very quiet campground that was well shaded. Facilities were taken care of but needed a little care (light bulb needed in women's restroom. It would also be nice to have access to the beach.
