Norwood Campground

So far the best campground we have stayed. It’s small but there’s year round activities, very clean facilities, a well stocked mini mart and the people in administration are awesome. You definitely don’t want to miss this one!

We had a wonderful time at Norwood Campground with our family. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The site we stayed on however, the bench broke on us within the first couple of hours, thank goodness it was not children on it, and unfortunately they were not able to accommodate with an extra bench for us. Only take away is to ensure that the bench provided at each site is functional and not rotted. I won’t give less then five stars due to the wear and tear of the bench.

We love this campground! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is so family oriented. They host fun activities and have lots of good amenities on site. Bath houses are super clean too. It’s a nice mix of a nature get away with fun family activities. I will note that the entrance is a little uphill one way and our vehicle (wagon) struggled a bit, in case anyone else needs to be prepared for that, but we made it in and out safely and had a great time! Next time we will plan to loop around to the other side of the same road and enter via downhill side. Will definitely be back!

We needed a place to stay with a camper and 2 dogs while in town for a wedding. Booking with Norwood was super easy. Melissa checked back in with us prior to our arrival. The campsite was easy to find, easy to get into and easy to set up. The campsite and entire campground was immaculate. This was the most relaxing campground stay we've ever experienced. We only need a couple of nights but we now intend to come back and stay longer.

We enjoyed our stay at Norwood Campground. It is a family ran business. They have a nice little park for the children & swings for adults. They even have a jump pad for all to enjoy. We had the best time!

The sites were clean & easy to access. I seen someone every morning coming to clean the bathhouses. They were clean everytime I went to visit. I didn’t use the shower but it was clean. I also seen the lady cleaning the windows as well. Fun fact…they have a dog wash station.

They are working on a haunted trail/haunted house. Go check them out!

You can tell they have a passion for the campground & they treat their guest well. We will be visiting again!
