This is our go to family camping spot. There's always enough space. The bath houses are relatively clean to be a campground. The porta potties on the lake are actually quite nasty but thankfully there were other restrooms to use. We consistently stay here and our family always has a wonderful time.

Overall enjoyed our stay and liked the area. The two issues we ran into were no soap in the bathroom (better pack your own or have plenty of hand sanitizer) and no firewood for sale at the campground - you had to leave the park and go to a gas station about 3 miles back. Both were surprising but not a major problem, but would maybe others can have a chance to prepare/plan differently for their trips

Campground was quiet, other campers were good neighbors, pleasant to talk to. The restrooms/showers were clean.

Pros: Nicely organized sites. Plenty of bathrooms. Showers had hot water and nice pressure. Bathroom area well lit. Gates to the campground closed at night. Nearby beach access to lake near dock was very nice-walkable or driveable, good parking.
Cons: The sites were a bit small. Very tall fire ring made it a bit hard to see fire when sitting around.

The road leading to the campground is dirt for quite some distance. Very dusty! However, the roads in the campground are paved, thank goodness. A lot of sites are on inclines making it tough to level RV’s in some instances. I have a 32’ Class C and will not return. Water spigots are spread out too far and you could be quite a distance from the shower/restroom if you don’t plan. You are not able to see the water very well from most sites, so plan on looking at trees. The trees do provide good shade for when it is hot out.
