nice campsite - not as close to the water as we had thought based on the map

OK Campground, however the bath house was severely outdated. They stunk and had spiders and bugs all in it. Some of the foors was completely covered with spider webs and one of the showers had a sewer smell coming of the drain. We will find another place to stay next time

The site was excellent, if your pulling a trailer make sure to bring levelers, side to side is off buy approx. 4"and having power was a life saver because the temp was around 95 with 85% humidity.

Had a very enjoyable time staying at arrowhead campground we did have electric site, which was very nice since it was incredibly hot over the weekend and we were able to run the air conditioner all weekend. The sites are a little tight but well shaded there is nice walking paths and close to the main lake. I would enjoy going back hopefully Der part of the year where it's not quite so warm and I can get out and enjoy the trails better.

Bathrooms were well maintained. Most everything you’ll need is within a thirty minute drive. Very comfortable and quiet camping

Second trip that my reserved spot wasn’t reserved. Spot 14 had an open sign on the post. Just luck that no one else had pulled in before I got there.
I rate the bath house as a plus. It’s dated but kept very clean. The hot showers were great.
We used the picnic table on site 14, and we came away with chigger bites. Itched like crazy for 5 days. May want to consider replacing the table.
The campground was quiet and peaceful, and I enjoy the Uwharries. I will go back in spite of the chiggers and the picnic table they call home.

Our experience was overall awesome. The bathrooms were really clean and there were many available for the campers. we were at the #43 and 44 and both of these sites are closest to the bathrooms and a water faucet. We had 3 larger tents and our adjoining space was an RV camper who allowed us to take some of the soft space around the trees, else we would have to put the tents on the paved areas. these two spots are best for RVs. The trail and lake was very easily accessible from our spot. Overall we found this place great for camping with kids too. Eldorado store was highly convenient for icecream/beer and water.
