King's Mountain Point Picnic Pavilion is highly recommended for family gatherings, offering ample space for activities and a secluded atmosphere for privacy. The pavilion can accommodate large groups and provides facilities like tables, grills, and a nearby drinking well. While there is a minor downside regarding the lack of hand soap in the bathroom, the overall experience is enjoyable, with nature walks, fishing opportunities, and pet-friendly areas.

I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to host with family and friends! The picnic pavilion was an amazing experience. I’ve been coming here for several years with my family and it’s always enjoyable. The nature gives my family and I a breath of fresh air and plenty of space to do a lot of activities. There is also a huge open field right next to the pavilion to play soccer, badminton, volleyball, etc. The picnic pavilion was able to host my family of 20+ and can definitely fit more. It is also secluded from others so that you and your family can enjoy some privacy while bbq or enjoying nature. There were several tables and grills we were able to use. There was also a drinking well? Or pump that was super close to the pavilion but it is located throughout the whole area. My grandma is handicap and she enjoyed how versatile the picnic pavilion is. Although she could not go in the dirt pathways she still enjoyed the nature walks. The lake also had a place to go fishing. My family and I also brought our dogs and they enjoyed the swim and the outdoors. The pavilion provided a lot of shade for all of us and there were plenty of outlets. I would highly suggest brining a fan if you plan to come during the spring/summer. The only downside is that the only available bathroom near by does not have any hand soap to clean your hands. Other than that it was an amazing experience and will always be a wonderful place.

The pavilion had plenty of picnic tables for a large group. The large grassy area next to it provided space for some outdoor games like corn hole, bad mitten and horse shoes. The bathrooms were close by and parking wasn’t an issue. The nearby, paved walking trail was very nice and shaded.
