Second Host was unprofessional and her mannerisms needed a lot of work. There is a difference between PARKING on the street and blocking the road, and using your flasher and temporary unloading water for your camper.

We were in Loop D, in late January...it was awesome, only 4 other campers, the bathhouse was heated and clean, the beach was fantastic....nobody for miles! And town is only 3 miles, so good food options still in the winter season.
We will be back!

The camp host was very helpful. Checking in took an hour as the internet was very limited. Having a second checkin option would be great (envelope or something simple)> We met a woman the next day who had the same issue. If u are doing this checkin on the road then doing it online has many difficulties, like poor wifi service.

The campground was beautiful, the hosts were very friendly and helpful. However, with the very limited water and bathroom facilities, maybe a discounted winter, off season fee would be more appropriate

Site 3 was the best! As this was my first visit to Ocracoke, I chose the site based on the campground map. The cold wind that blew most of the second night was blocked somewhat by the vegetation adjacent to the spot where I chose to pitch my backpacking tent. The sound of rain, wind, and the crashing surf made for a restful night. The campground was nearly empty and I had the entire beach to myself. Walked into the village on my last day on the island and it was equally uncrowded. Love the off-season!

We had such a great time at the campground, spots were a lot bigger than advertised. The camp hosts were absolutely fantastic and we will be coming back again!!!
