I would give the highest rating, but rude, inconsiderate RV next to me wanted to run their generator all day and past 10:00 pm quite time. However, the wonderful campground hosts help me relocate to a better, distant, site the next morning. Other than that, the visit was great. Bathrooms were in great shape. Bugs were gone, and campground was about 80 percent empty. A wonderful visit - again, a shout out to the terrific campground host volunteers on duty that weekend.

Roxanne Riccio is the model for what a campground host should be. She is friendly and outgoing and helpful in every possible way. Roxanne is a happy person, and she makes it her daily goal to make everyone around her happy, too.
Matthew Tolson is one of the nicest human beings I've met. He cares so much about this campground and works so hard to take care of it and repair what needs repairing. He cares about Ocracoke and the way of life there, and he deserves a giant raise for all that he does.

Had an amazing time .... showers were cold but very refreshing honestly :). The facility was so clean and kept so nice and manicured. Still had a feel like it was so natural. We will definitely come back!

Hated it that the redfish didn't cooperate
