Nice campground, but the presence of gas RV generators running all the time makes sleeping difficult.
Should break of the campground into tents & RV section so tent people can sleep.

Nice campground and could hear the ocean from our site.
The negatives are that it is hard to have privacy since it is pretty wide open. The mosquitos were very annoying in the mornings and evenings.
The positives are that it is a nice flat campground and not far from town. We rode our ebikes into the town each day to explore, shop, and eat.

Ocracoke is awesome. Probably my favorite place in the states. Don’t come. You’ll mess it up for the rest of us.

Quiet / beautiful Area / plenty of space on sites. Only down side is the lack of dog owners to pick up their dog's waste & failing to keep their dogs on leash

Such a beautiful, small island with an ideal camp setting steps away from the beach. We had to leave early due to incoming storms. If it's windy, it's BEST if you have a van or RV. Camping in a tent is not ideal for the strong winds that may occur. Luckily, we had the van!

The Ocracoke Campground is a favorite destination for me. Beautiful beaches, excellent campground, friendly ferry staff to and from, and we recommend Howard's pub for delicious seafood!

Absolutely loved Ocracoke in October. One of the best campsites I’ve been to. Spot D05 was great loved being tucked away in the Dunes and the bathroom was close enough with the kids.
