Great views of the milky way, beautiful beach, and nice camp sites.
Clean facilities on most days.
(cold) drinking water that tastes very good.
Mobile coverage is hit or miss. If you must work with tele-presence, bring a Starlink dish and chose a camp side that is open to NNE.

We spent one night in our camper van on our first trip to the Outer Banks in many years. The campground has undergone many welcome improvements since out last visit. Our one afternoon and night were great before venturing further north to Frisco and Oregon Inlet.

Nice little campground, right on the beach. Well kept, and plenty of space between campsites. Only problem is they did not have heated showers.

We were here in late November so there wasn't much going on. Nice beach though and clean campsites
