The campsite was lovely and well maintained. I would warn people that the showers can be extremely hot and there is no way to adjust the temperature. Also they are attached to the bathrooms so if one is smelly the shower will be as well.

Great spot. The bath house is clean and close to the campsite. Loved the closeness to the lake. Having people around but still feeling a sense of calm serenity

Cheoah Point campground is an amazing place to camp, and to enjoy the beautiful Lake Santeetlah. It is an easy 7 miles to the nearest town of Robbinsville, where you can easily purchase groceries and supplies. Most campsites are primitive, but there are bath houses with shower stalls and flush toilets. Campsites are fairly spacious. Most have tent pad, picnic table, fire pit, grill and lantern stands. There are 8 electric sites as well. If you need electric, book plenty in advance. There is usually a campground host on site. There is also a swimming area closeby with a trail down to it, and a boat ramp near there as well.

Beautiful location, sites not very private/very close together, not very well maintained with some trash in the fire rings. Bathrooms okay, but very smelly and buggy. Easy walk to Cheoah Beach access. No site host while I was there.

We love the campground. Bath house and showers are clean. We pulled a travel trailer there. And the only thing I would recommend is having a dump station. There is not one anywhere in the area. The one in Robinsville is shut down. Other than that it was great!

One of my favorite places I've camped. Lots of shade, level sites, and convenient bathrooms with hot showers. The camp host, Chris, was super nice. The best part was being able to take a short hike to Lake Santeetlah to swim. One of the most beautiful lakes I've seen. Highly recommend.

Great little campground. Clean bathrooms, lots of first come first serve sites though some are nicer than others. Quick walk to swim beach with crystal clear lake water down to about 10 feet. Good parking and even boat trailer parking. We had 1 bar coverage for Verizon. Small town of Robbinsville is about 15 minutes away.

Wonderful campground. Great shower house and restrooms close to this site. Site is very private with long wide driveway. Verizon reception not great. Tried starlink but didn’t find a good spot for service due to beautiful treed and shady spot. I hope it’s free next time we come through.

Love this campground! Quiet, surrounded by water on 3 sides and no cell service... 6 RV sites that are electric only hookups but book quickly. Great for exploring nature at Joyce Kilmer and many other waterfall spots, even better if you want to cruise the Cherohala skyway or Tail of the Dragon.
