We went camping for a few days prior to Memorial Day weekend. Campground looks great. Team constantly working to make things nice. Decorating for the big upcoming weekend when we were leaving. Enjoyed the peaceful time. Swam, fished, mini golf, ice cream at the creamery, read. Nice time to relax. Always look forward to coming.

Let me say that my family and I love going camping here. This trip we spent a bit of time in the water and while I know it is somewhat beyond there control the water was absolutely fridged, even the indoor pool. The fishing was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The campgrounds, bathhouse, and play areas were very clean. The wifi left something to be desired, it would cut in and out and a lot of freezing up. Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely be going back.

This Yogi Bear campground is awesome. The grounds are kept very clean. Ice cream place, surprisingly decent pizza/breadsticks for a campground. Good amentiies and helpful and kind staff. Unfortunately, I gotta take 1 star. I really don't get it. The splash area holds probably 50 chairs, and can have 100+ people for occupany, yet, only 3 umbrellas are provided. Every one is looking for shade and cooking. Why? It's such an easy thing to do and it significantly increases guest satisifcation. Secondly, quiet hours are 11PM. Again..... why? This is a kid centric campground. Young kids going to bed get to deal with a loud campground for hours. Lame. Hope both of those things will be corrected. Oh... and the activities are very fun!

This is one of our favorite camping destinations and stays heavy on our rotation. It is as family friendly as it gets. They have multiple stocked fishing ponds, putt-putt, homemade ice cream, a grill, huge splash pad, two outdoor pools and an indoor pool.
The quad sites are great for group camping, as well as premium sites and shaded forest sites. This place is special and if you're thinking of visiting them you should book your trip now. You won't regret it.
All that and you're a short drive from some of the best shopping and beaches in the Carolinas but without being in the middle of all the hustle!

we’re currently here now, and we have been since Monday. There are a few things that absolutely would need tweaking. So while it says that there are all these amenities for the kids, it’s only specific times & days because (and i quote) “one of us has to sit up here to supervise”. for instance, there is a jump pad, but it’s only able to be used from 6 PM to 7 PM. We’ve been here since Monday and not one time have we seen Yogi Bear. then there’s donut decorating, but you’d have to pay seven dollars and that’s just to put frosting and sprinkles on one singular doughnut and the bear will make an appearance there. There is no reason that the bear doesn’t even jump on a golf cart and drive around once a day. You pay a good amount of money for the cabins and even the pool and splash pad don’t open until nine or 10 AM and there isn’t even a lifeguard, but meanwhile, kids are waking up around 7. The cabin can sleep 8 people, but you cannot even utilize the top loft because it is excruciatingly hot so we were unable to use it. they have a “sports center” with no balls or rackets to play the sports.
you can’t come in before 3 o’clock to even utilize the campground even without getting into your cabin, but if you rent a golf cart, you’re charged an entire day even when you get it at 3 o’clock.
so now we’ll check out tomorrow and there is no Yogi bear that came around, kids are awake. It’s 730 and we have to wait until at least 9 o’clock to be able to go do anything. Even the rec center stays closed and then when it opens, you can’t even go to color until 1 o’clock in the afternoon for one hour.
it’s a cute spot with a lot of potential. but needs more activities for the kids throughout the day.
