We went here mainly for the opportunity to fish. The banks appear to still have the rif raf from Hugo. A lot of debris. The dock at the main rec area is cool but usually crowded. Campsites are very close to each other and there can be a fair amount of traffic and noise aftern10pm. The bathrooms are disgusting! Cobwebs and flying insects coming out from under the toilet lid! Cleaning schedule posted but thats BS. No hot water in the sink. Dryer broke while there. Over all, not impressed.

I arrived on the 20th early in the morning and there was a vehicle taking up my whole parking area to the point family that came with me rented another spot so we could park and try to enjoy our get together. The men's restroom was out of order and not enough toilet paper in the women's. The trails and lake where as always absolutely beautiful.

The campground is always well maintained, and the campsites are clean and ready when you arrive. The restrooms and showers are simple but always clean, and there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really appreciate how peaceful, organized, and welcoming this place feels every time we visit.

After a long work week and the constant rush to get everything done, this place is a perfect escape. It gives you an opportunity to unwind, recharge, and truly relax in nature. We always leave feeling refreshed, with renewed energy and a clear mind, ready to return to everyday life. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway☘️

Site looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Fire pit full of debris and full. Standup grill had at least 3 inches of old hard charcoal. For the 3 time, toilets are closed "due to maintenance " same one for 4 months? One toilet for around 80 people? Mostly children! It was filthy. Camp host is disabled and can not perform duties. I know it's $10 a night, but really. Used to be one of my favorites...

The site was excellent. The site backed up to the lake for great fishing. the grounds were clean with plenty of fresh drinking water. Restrooms and showers across the path.. it was a great stay.

I love camping here. I've been going there for 40yrs. Lately there have been small issues, but hopefully the forestry will solve them. I will be returning.
