An amazing campsite in one of the most beautiful and secluded places in the Eastern U.S. The drive in is not easy from Asheville and you'll be on a single lane dirt road for a few miles. Pack all you need for the stay because once you're in, you're in. You'll also want to stay in as long as possible because it is beautiful!

What a wonderful spot to camp. There is a nice river flowing nearby, trails nearby, and a very friendly and knowledgeable park host.

Great campground away from the crowds. Have your morning coffee while watching the elk graze in the meadows a short distance from the campground. It's a long drive on a steep, gravel road with many tight curves. Just go slow and enjoy it.

We pulled a 30 foot fifth wheel in over what we call the β three mile road from Hellβ the campground was great but worried much of the time about getting back out. I would suggest the road be limited to no more then three axles, the elk were wonderful !
