The campground is more remote than most others located within the park. There is no camp store or provisions at the campground so be prepared to bring food and firewood with you.

The camp host was excellent. Very informative, welcoming, and on guard. This was a beautiful campground and area of the park.

I liked the area, but the sites are just way too close. Its hard to be quiet enough for folks even during non-quiet hours. I'm glad we went, but its not for me.

Honestly don’t recommend this campsite if you are tent camping. VERY close to the bathrooms which means you can hear every toilet flush, hand dryer and door slam close. This noise woke us up throughout the night and this paired with people driving fast in and out of the campsite constantly meant there was no peace. People are not quiet or respectful nor observe quiet hours so do with that information what you will.

I had a great and peaceful time there. It would have been better if I had stayed two nights so that I could have left my car parked at my camping site and walked to the Boogerman Trail. Since I was there only one night, I had to drive up at 7 a.m. and get my daily parking pass to park near to the campground.
