What Guests Are Saying
Bandits Roost campground offers beautiful lake views, clean and well-maintained facilities, and spacious sites, making it a popular choice for campers. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. However, some areas, including the bathhouses and fire pits, require updates and maintenance, and there are occasional issues with the entrance gate and site cleanliness between campers. Overall, it remains a beloved destination for many.

The sites are well maintained and clean. There is always hot water for the shower house. I appreciate the rangers driving through the park daily. Very helpful, friendly staff!

very clean neat campground that does not disappoint except; bathhouse is old and needs to be updated, boat landing has been bad for years and continues to deteriorate to point of being dangerous.

Great campground and perfect location. Nice and quiet. Our only complaint is the fire pits really need to be cleaned out. We come here at least once a year.

Camp site smelled of rotting fish or chicken. Trash down by lake. Other than that it was very pleasant.

We love site 22A at Bandit's Roost and felt lucky to reserve it. We had great neighbors on either side. However, maintenance and upkeep at the campground is not as it used to be. We had a big tree limb down on the corner of our site that appeared to have been there for some time. Branches had been partially burned in the firepit. I don't think anyone regularly checks the sites between campers. The entrance gate is still broken - for at least 3 years now. Gate attendants are not there but a few hours a day and cannot help with reservation problems at all. Even though the website showed the campground full, we drove through and found only 23 RVs there! Why hold reservations for people who never show up? We still camp there, and it is a beautiful campground, but could be - and has been - so much better.
