Clean, peaceful, beautiful. A-29, large, private, fairly level, 35’ MH. Took a ride to Mt. Airy to see Mayberry, a must if you watched the show.

We stayed at Bandits Roost to attend the annual MerleFest music festival for the first time. The site is located just off the highway, a few miles from the festival, and offers easy access. We were lucky to be able to reserve a pull-through spot at the pull through row's end with water on three sides, plus electric and water hookups. Sites are spacious, there's a dump station by the bath house, Wi-Fi isn't available but cell reception is strong. Since we were here for the music festival, we didn’t take in any of the park’s amenities. We'll be back to enjoy those in the future.

Nice, peaceful campground. Site 52 was level and had partial shade, but was still open enough for decent Starlink performance. Bathhouse facility was good, but is due for an update.

Park is quiet and our section B was very shady. Our site was mostly level, but dropped off on the back a bit. We did not use the showers, but bathroom clean, though desperately in need of a renovation. Road around campsites is very narrow, but site was plenty long for our 30 foot 5th wheel and truck.
