Nice campground it was fairly quiet. Only had one night that there was a speed boat on the lake late at night other than that it was pretty quiet. We will be back.

We camped at the group campsite at Bandits Roost which we reserve annually for a women’s mountain biking trip. This year, the shelter concrete floor was full of debris and litter. Obviously, it wasn’t swept before our stay. Also, the fire pit was full of aluminum cans and other trash. But our main problem every year is the trespassing of other campers who walk past the closed gates and enter our campsite not understanding that we have reserved the entire site. This happens repeatedly every time we stay at this site despite keeping the gates closed. Last year, I requested that the staff erect signs clarifying that this is a group campsite and should be respected by other campers if it is reserved. No signs have been added though.

We love it here. Everyone is so friendly. The views are beautiful. We enjoyed our time together cooking, reading, walking around and exploring. We plan to be back again.
