We camped 4 nights in space 37 in September 2022. Some people complained about the lower part of the site (in previous reviews) but we loved it for walking our dogs. We had a great view of the lake in site 37. We were able to get a signal for our portable TV dish and we had good Verizon cell service at this site. The other thing we liked was being close to Wilkesboro for shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the hiking trails, especially down by the dam. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. This is a great Corp of Engineers park and with the parks pass, very affordable.
