Great view from our campsite 36. Plenty of room for our large TT. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing in the Kerr lake. Small lake with few boats through the week.

The sites are very small here compared to what we are use to at CoE campgrounds. This site in particular and many like it are almost in the neighbors site. Here you actually back into the neighbors picnic area and may even believe that is your area too. This site is on the water, but it is difficult to access especially if you are not in good physical shape. It's down hill and you have to jump down an embankment. The playground is not centered in the campground, neither is the bathhouse. For both you must climb a large hill. Cell reception can be achieved up by the gate, but not at the site - Verizon customer.

I took my kids here for my youngest child’s first camping trip, everything from check in to check out was easy and handled with great customer service, bath houses were kept clean, the rangers were beyond kind and friendly, the swimming “beach” was my kids favorite spot to spend the day.
We will def be going back to Bandits Roost!

beautiful campground and well run. The reservation system is not the best. Good luck finding any sites open on a Saturday as they are booked up as soon as they are released.
