Very nice, quiet, clean campground. We rented a river tub from Foothills Outdoor Adventures and had a great time! Love the beach inside Bandits Roost because there is some shade for those who want it, but the beaches at the other corps of engineers campgrounds are also accessible while you’re staying here.

We absolutely love this campground! We go multiple times a year! The man at the gate is very kind and helpful!

Nice level and shaded site in section B. Quiet and nice to walk. When I went to book a site the website showed almost no availability and I felt lucky to land a 3 night stay midweek. Was upset to see a huge number of empty sites available during my stay that apparently people had reserved and then failed to cancel.

Our campsite was one of the more private ones, but many of the sites require you be very friendly with your neighbors.
