What Guests Are Saying
Bandits Roost campground offers beautiful lake views, clean and well-maintained facilities, and spacious sites, making it a popular choice for campers. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. However, some areas, including the bathhouses and fire pits, require updates and maintenance, and there are occasional issues with the entrance gate and site cleanliness between campers. Overall, it remains a beloved destination for many.

Some of the sites are quite crowed, but the water view is quite nice. We enjoy the water view and the quite camp site.

I had site 16 the upper of a double site but if was wonderful, I could still see the lake thru the trees! A short walk with the dog brought us to the point with nothing but water around you, it was stunning! A swimming area looked fun. Everyone I met was so friendly, I had a fabulous time, tried to book another weekend but alas all full!
I did get a spot at Fort Hamby, I hope it's as great of an experience as I had at Bandits. Loved it!
