Everything was really nice. The site was good and the leaves were starting to turn. The staff friendly. Very restful stay. We have reservations again in April 2022.

Always a great campground to visit. We have been in great sites, site 28 and 29 are the best with great water views. Have been there a few times and will return. Everyone is welcoming and it is very quiet, relaxing and very clean. Highly recommended.

We were on loop B and had a slight problem with the camper that prevented us from getting out and about during the time we were there. The loop B campground is wonderful! We were at site 75, and it offered a bit of seclusion from the main road. The showers/toilets were down the hill, there were stairs down if one doesn't want to walk the road to get there. Didn't use the showers, but they appeared clean, and there are two toilet stalls. We will definitely return!

Bandit Roosts Campground was nice, place for tents, small and large campers. Larger campers 40+ ft need to use loop A because loop B has a BIG tree on the curve . “A loop “also has pull through with view of the lake. Playground, bathrooms and showers available. Don’t arrive before 3:00 pm or you may have to turn around and come back later. Know your site # when you arrive. No sewage at site but two dump stations “ALoop “ is longer and pull throughs for big rigs. We have a 44 ft 5th wheel and we got into 99 with very little problems (except big tree on the turn.). Fire pits at each campground and firewood available to purchase. Cons: tree limbs blocked the view on the lake in 99 and 100. Need trimming, site wasn’t level. You must drive 45 minutes to Blowing Rock! It’s sooo worth the drive, but fill up on gas because stations are few. Go to blowing rock observatory. Military discount. Restaurants are expensive and playground on Main Street. Enjoy.
