Very nice facilities. Hosts were fantastic. Wish they'd fix the weird patio arrangement where your neighbors sit behind your rv.

Bandits Roost campground offers beautiful lake views, clean and well-maintained facilities, and spacious sites, making it a popular choice for campers. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. However, some areas, including the bathhouses and fire pits, require updates and maintenance, and there are occasional issues with the entrance gate and site cleanliness between campers. Overall, it remains a beloved destination for many.

Easy to book on Recreation.gov. Greeted by ranger at entrance booth and had all questions answered. Site was on the water; it was level and easy to back into. Didn’t use restrooms/showers. Very pleasant overnight stay while we were on a three week trip.

We were in site 16 with a 32 ft class C, site required little leveling, nice amount of shade and still a view of the reservoir. Sites 19-23 looked like good shaded sites with views for a future stay but be warned the peninsula pull through sites have great views but no shade. Did not use bathroom facilities but dump station was great. Planning on a return trip with kayaks.

The campground is beautiful. There are trails at the waterfront sites down to the water. Not much to do around in town but very happy with the campground

Wonderful time to visit the lake. Marvin, camp host on duty was an excellent ambassador for the campground. Knowledgeable & interesting to talk to; he & his wife with the other team, keep Bandit's Roost campground in good shape.
