Very nice staff and well maintained. Disc golf course and hiking trails with a small water fall. Hot showers and clean restrooms. Quiet and beautiul. Camp sites are spaced out enough to feel private with plenty of shade.

The workers were very helpful and helped us reduce the fee and showed me how to do it for all accounts.
It was quiet and beautiful. We will come again.

Ft Hamby is a wonderful place to get away from everything and just catch your breath. No frills - but everything you could want in a camping experience.
The Park Rangers and
Every Park Eemployees were very thoughtful, courteous, just so very nice. [Our Yorki came with us and the lady at the gate always gave him a treat when she was working.
A treat for us was seeing deer on 3 different occasions (2 of these times it was a family of deer)
We camped for 2 weeks and left the camp feeling revived and ready to return to the adult world.
Looking forward to our next trip!

We stayed in campsite #1. This site was very difficult to back our 26-ft trailer into. We feel the difficulty was primarily due to the narrow campground road and extensive erosion of the shoulders of the road resulting in difficult positioning of our truck for and easy back-in. The bathhouse could use a remodel / upgrade, especially the showers. We like showers where: 1) the shower spray is not directed toward the drying area, 2) each shower has its own sitting bench, and 3) there is a mat in the drying area so your feet don’t get muddy right after you shower.
