My family loves this location! Our favorite at Kerr Scott Lake. We enjoy the swim area, and rent the large picnic area for parties often! Bathrooms and showers are close by, as well as a park for the children to play on. Great place to enjoy some family time!

We had an awesome stay, 9/8 -9/18. It was very peaceful , we stayed on site 18 . The host were nice ,,bath-house was clean with lots of hot-water. Pay attention to the size of sites , we saw some smaller ones , we have a 38' 5er . Some sites you have to back up hill to get in. With America The Beautiful senior pass it was half price $12 a night. We will return.

Easy check in and well laid out spaces for camping. Walked the roads over to the lake and seems like there are a lot of trails to hike --great Frisbee course !

Sites are small. Navigating a 28ft trailer through the park is tricky due to the narrow roads. The park could use some upgrades. Overall the experience was a good one.The Park Attendants are very nice and very helpful. We may camp here in the future, but for now, we prefer Warrior's Creek.

Clean facilities, and access at the lake was VERY easy for putting in kayaks. Visiting during the summer months when the outdoor drama is being performed in an extra plus. I hope to camp her again. It would make a great camping experience in the fall with the leaves changing color on a football Saturday to visit Appalachian State as well.
