Good camping spots with enough room between the sites. Clean restrooms for use as well were a plus.

Great early season stay at this campground, lots of wildlife, bison in camp every night and morning. Restrooms not open yet which we knew, however the one water site was not well mentioned for access or potability which was frustrating. Would come back, nice to be inside park. Accessing the NP office and campground road was horrible. Lots of construction in Medora, entire road through town, upgrades for tourism, all roads were stopped even side streets in town made it a wait to get in or out or campground. Going to be a worse tourist trap when done.

Nothing was open. The recreation.gov didn’t identify what kind of campsite it was until after I paid. So, I camped in the RV area and since no one was there I couldn’t change it to a tent camping area. Nor could I change it on the website. And no one was there to assist.

Clean bathrooms and great small hiking trails to the Little Missouri right around the campsite.
