It made all the difference for the Park Rangers to turn on the water and open the toilets. The Park is in fantastic shape. I did go to the Elkhorn Ranch site and the first sign board needs to be replaced. It’s so weathered that parts are unreadable. There’s also a pine that’s directly in the foundation line that detracts from experiencing the sense of sitting at the ranch house. Also, an effort to label the t-posts that outline the barn, coop, garden, blacksmith shop, and well location makes it more real. The Exhibit displays let you know as you walk in, but labels always help. It’s obviously a bucket list location so this seems like a good expense on your reduced budget. I had a wonderful experience. Thank you!

Clean bathrooms and great small hiking trails to the Little Missouri right around the campsite.

Not a ton of activities this time of year. It was awesome to see bison right on the little Missouri outside our campsite.

Great campsite and more than enough room for our 33’ RV with slides and tow vehicle. Great solar access for this site as well. The shared driveway was never an issue. Potable water fill station is just as you enter the campground but there were also individual water supply faucets through the campground.
