The site felt very secluded, quiet and wild. The amenities were all there with potent water and bathrooms.

The campground was clean and tidy. We were thrilled with buffalo walking through the camp sites in the morning and rolling around in dirt circles on their way to the river. Wild horses were also nearby. This is a great campground, so fun to be in the park for an early morning drive to see the animals!

Great location near the Little Missouri river. Bison and wild horses grazed along the river during our stay.
There was no fire pit, however. Fires had to be made in a raised grill. You could have brought your own ring to use. Lack of a campfire area was a real drawback.
No showers.

We had a nice site with a view of the hills (68), and on several occasions, the buffalo and wild horses came through the campsite area. A great campground, although the ground on part of our site wasn't terribly level.
