Fri night of our visit, the campers across from us played loud music until after midnight. Did not see a sheriff or a park ranger that night despite seeing them multiple times during the daytime. They were reported to the camp host and the next night was better. We loved the campground. It was clean and the facilities were nice. One thing about showering at night, the light is on a motion/timer. I know people were caught in the pitch black!! I was lucky to be warned ahead of time and had a flashlight on the whole time I showered. I could have been seriously injured trying to navigate to the door in the dark. It is not your fault, but after being in the beautiful wooded campground, the first thing you see while driving out is the AWFUL eyesore windmills. We were not warned about MN. boats need to purchase a certificate about invasive species. We were approached by the DNR.

Camp grounds are well kept despite still clearing walking paths from storm damage.
The Campground Host very helpful with questions. He also goes through each campsite ensuring no forgotten items and cleans the site if needed.

Lovely campground still recovering from a big storm that ravaged some of the trees. Stay away from the front (near the bathhouse) where the camp host and friends have set up a community with a well lived-in look. Most sites are private. I enjoyed my stay and would return.

There is no internet. We had to go several miles to park safely and use cell service. Otherwise it was a very nice campground.

It was a very nice campground. Plenty of bathrooms, water and garbage locations. Very quiet at night and had a nice swimming/beach area. My only complaint would be when we were driving in the sign said to “make sure you check in before you took your spot” and it wasn’t very clear as to where to check in. After driving around the entire campground and checking with other campers who said they had the same issue, we took our spot anyway. The camp host did come around later and told us that that was just fine. He was very pleasant and nice to talk to. We will go back again.
